MPI a déjà signalé dans un article du 23/3/2018 le résultat du nationaliste Marian KOTLEBA (222 935 voix sur 2 145 364 selon le résultat définitif, soit 10,4% des suffrages exprimés).
Il faut signaler qu’un juge à la Cour suprême de Slovaquie, Stefan Harabin, défendait lui aussi la lutte contre l’immigration de masse. Il est arrivé 3e avec 307 823 voix (14,3%).
Enfin, il ne faut pas oublier que dans ce pays, le SMER, de tendance sociale-démocrate, est néanmoins hostile à l’immigration. Son candidat, Sefcovic, est arrivé deuxième avec 18,7% (400 379 voix).
Cependant, la candidate arrivée première avec 40,6% (870 415 voix) a, elle, des idées libérales. Elle souhaite favoriser l’avortement et est favorable à l’élargissement des « droits » des homos (mais pas au soit-disant « mariage » homo). Elle est donnée favorite au second tour et elle est soutenue par les européistes. Elle ne sera donc pas soutenue, ni par les catholiques, ni par les patriotes.
Heureusement, le président slovaque a peu de pouvoir. Il est chef des armées et dispose du droit de veto pour certaines nominations mais ne peut bloquer les lois votées par le parlement.
Les élections législatives de 2020 seront beaucoup plus importantes pour l’avenir de la Slovaquie.
