La Sainte Tunique d’Argenteuil est habituellement exposée à la dévotion des fidèles tous les 50 ans ! La dernière, ayant été réalisée en 1984, nous devrions attendre encore quelques années pour en connaitre une nouvelle. Mais, en raison des 150 ans de la basilique Saint Denys d’Argenteuil, le diocèse de Pontoise a annoncé qu’une ostension aura lieu du 25 mars au 10 avril 2016… A vos agendas…
Beaucoup d’émotion en perspective lors de la vénération de cette relique insigne !
C’est cette même tunique que le Christ portait le soir de la Cène, puis sur le chemin de la croix et qui fut tirée au sort par les soldats romains.
Elle sera exposée dans son reliquaire, dans le chœur de la basilique. Partiellement détériorée, il en reste tout de même des fragments cousus au XIXème siècle sur une tunique en soie.
Pour l’instant, peu d’informations sur les modalités pratiques pour s’inscrire car le diocèse prévoit quelques 150 000 pèlerins : nous vous en donnerons en temps utiles.
