Au cours de la grande parade du 9 mai à Moscou qui commémore chaque année la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale en Europe, la Russie présentera de nouvelles armes. Le ministère russe de la Défense a publié des photos d’exercices pour le défilé montrant différents nouveaux équipements militaires.
Outre les chars Armata T-14, l’armée russe dévoilera aussi de nouveaux systèmes de missiles lors de son défilé sur la Place Rouge qui s’annonce comme le plus important défilé militaire. Les dirigeants occidentaux ont été invités au défilé du 9 mai.
La Chine et la Corée du Nord seront représentées au plus haut niveau et le Premier ministre grec Alexis Tsipras est également attendu. La Serbie enverra un contingent militaire participer à la parade, comme le feront aussi la Chine et l’Inde.
