L’expulsion des immigrés illégaux ? C’est possible, la République Dominicaine le fait en ce moment.
Et à ce courage, rare, des autorités politiques locales s’ajoute celui, tout aussi rare, d’un cardinal, Mgr Nicolas de Jesus Lopez Rodriguez, archevêque de Saint-Domingue, qui a déclaré aujourd’hui que la République Dominicaine a le droit de procéder à des expulsions d’immigrants illégaux ainsi que le font d’autres pays.
Le 14 août, une opération conjointe de la Direction nationale de l’immigration et de la police nationale dominicaine a commencé le processus d’expulsion des étrangers –principalement des Haïtiens- qui se trouvent illégalement en République Dominicaine.
