Joseph Daul, eurodéputé UMP, a accordé un entretien au journal Dernières Nouvelles d’Alsace. Il cherche à y vanter les bienfaits de l’Union Européenne. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est que les arguments de l’eurodéputé UMP sont affligeants.
« Quand j’ai des groupes de jeunes visiteurs qui me disent que l’Europe ne sert à rien, je leur parle de la protection de l’environnement, de la sécurité alimentaire.
Et puis je leur dis qu’à leur âge, à 18 ans, quand je voulais aller à Kehl (ville frontalière de Strasbourg) pour voir les films pornos qui étaient interdits en France, il fallait parfois deux heures et demie pour passer la douane ! On arrivait au cinéma et le film était terminé ! Et puis, une fois sur deux, j’avais oublié le porte-monnaie avec les marks ! Quand on leur explique des choses comme ça, aux jeunes, ils voient tout de suite à quoi sert l’Europe. »
Parler de pornographie est donc l’argument ultime pour promouvoir cette institution européenne.
C’est d’autant plus pitoyable que Joseph Daul est président du Parti Populaire Européen, le parti de José Manuel Barroso et d’Herman Van Rompuy, qui regroupe notamment les eurodéputés démocrates-chrétiens. S’il y a de vrais chrétiens parmi eux, il serait bon qu’ils exigent de Joseph Daul de quitter la présidence du PPE.
