Norvège – Suite à de nombreuses agressions à la machette commises sur le territoire au cours des derniers mois, le gouvernement songe à interdire la vente de machettes.
« Oslo, ce n’est pas la jungle », a commenté le maire d’Oslo, favorable à l’interdiction de la vente de machettes.
La dernière agression à la machette à Oslo date de mardi soir.
Le ministre de la Justice et de l’Immigration, Jøran Kallmyr, a confirmé aux médias que le ministère travaillait à l’interdiction de la vente de machettes, mais que c’était difficile. « Le Code pénal interdit déjà de porter une machette ou un couteau dans un lieu public, et la police dispose déjà de cet outil juridique », explique le ministre Kallmyr.
« Nous devons rétablir le respect des autorités telles que la police et les enseignants. Le problème commence déjà dans la salle de classe. C’est là que nous devons commencer nos efforts », ajoute le ministre Kallmyr, sans oser s’attarder sur la nature des agresseurs qui utilisent ce type d’arme.
