Suisse – La Marche pour la vie prévue le 17 septembre 2016 à Berne se limitera à un rassemblement statique sur la Place fédérale. Les organisateurs invoquent la sécurité, les risques de débordement des contre-manifestants et les conditions imposées par les autorités bernoises.
Les organisateurs font état de complications d’organisation qu’impliquent les mesures de sécurité envisagées pour ce qui devait être la 7e Marche pour la vie, la première à Berne. La manifestation faisait l’objet de nombreuses restrictions, dénoncent les organisateurs. S’ajoutait à ces contraintes le risque d’attentat que redoutaient moins les organisateurs que les complications d’organisation imposées par la configuration de la capitale, avec ses galeries marchandes et ses ruelles.
Outre l’annulation de la Marche, il n’y aura pas de messe et les personnes désireuses de se rendre au rassemblement statique devront rejoindre la ville fédérale en car pour éviter la gare et les rues. Les autorités ont en effet averti que les manifestants vêtus de tee-shirts et portant des drapeaux ou bannières affichant leurs convictions, pourraient être importunés !
La Marche de 2015 organisée à Zurich, avait été perturbée par une contre-manifestation d’activistes de gauche. La conseillère nationale Marianne Streiff-Feller avait peiné à prononcer un discours sous les hurlements blasphématoires et les insultes des militants pro-avortement.
Le comité d’organisation pro-vie avait déplacé l’événement dans la capitale fédérale en espérant attirer les Romands et ainsi donner une ampleur nationale à la marche.
Daniel Régli, le président du comité d’organisation, n’exclut pas d’annuler également le rassemblement statique si les conditions imposées ne permettent pas son bon déroulement.
