L’opinion publique à tranché: dans un sondage IFOP paru dimanche pour nos confrères de Ouest-France, les Français se disent attachés aux crèches de Noël dans les administrations et les bâtiments publics pour 71% d’entre eux tandis que seulement 18% s’y montrent défavorables.
Cela transcende les courants politiques puisque quel que soit le parti dont les sondés se disent le plus proche l’opinion en faveur des crèches se trouve majoritaire, sauf au Front de Gauche où elle se trouve légèrement défavorable (49% contre 46%).
La victoire devant le tribunal administratif de Nantes ressemble donc de plus en plus à une victoire à la Pyrrhus.
Après la classe politique qui, à droite, a pris position en faveur des crèches de Noël, allant même jusqu’à en installer dans leurs bâtiments pour certains élus ou en prenant une certaine distanciation vis-à-vis de la Libre Pensée pour la gauche, ce sont maintenant les Français eux-mêmes qui en plébiscitant la tolérance contre le sectarisme infligent un désaveu sévère à l’organisation laïciste.
