Autriche – Un tribunal autrichien a condamné mercredi un demandeur d’asile syrien à la prison à perpétuité pour avoir tué 20 soldats blessés et désarmés de l’armée gouvernementale.
L’homme, aujourd’hui âgé de 27 ans, a commis ses crimes entre 2013 et 2014, alors qu’il combattait dans les rangs d’une unité de l’Armée syrienne libre (ASL), dans la province de Homs, indique l’AFP. Venu demander asile en Europe, le criminel a été arrêté en juin 2016 dans un foyer de réfugiés de l’ouest de l’Autriche, après avoir été dénoncé par un compatriote.
Les médias autrichiens précisent que cet immigré syrien se vantait devant d’autres réfugiés d’avoir « achevé » des soldats désarmés ou blessés qui ne pouvaient lui opposer aucune résistance.
