Après la Macédoine et la Bulgarie, c’est la Hongrie qui fait appel à l’armée pour défendre les frontières et repousser les immigrés.
Des troupes pourraient être déployées très prochainement à la frontière avec la Serbie pour barrer la route aux masses d’immigrés qui tentent d’entrer illégalement dans le pays par cette voie.
Le gouvernement hongrois va décider en urgence si l’armée doit être déployée sur la frontière, a déclaré un porte-parole du gouvernement.
L’afflux massif de migrants a conduit aujourd’hui à des débordements dans la ville de Röszke, où se trouve un centre de notification. La police a fait face à un groupe de 300 à 400 immigrés hors de contrôle et a été forcée d’utiliser des gaz lacrymogènes pour les repousser.
Hier se pressaient environ 2.500 immigrés à la frontière hongroise avec la Serbie. La plupart d’entre eux veulent se rendre en Allemagne pour y demander l’asile. Dans une tentative de protéger les frontières, la Hongrie est en train de construire une haute clôture sur la frontière avec la Serbie.
