La Hongrie ne participera pas au prochain concours Eurovision de la chanson, « trop gay », rapporte The Guardian.
Un commentateur de la télévision hongroise, Andras Bencsik, a comparé l’Eurovision à une « flottille homosexuelle » et déclaré que le pays se porterait mieux, mentalement, s’il n’y participait plus. « Beaucoup de jeunes pensent que cette émission est tout public, mais durant le spectacle, on assiste à une destruction du goût du public à coups de travestis hurlant et de femmes à barbe », a-t-il déclaré, cité par le quotidien britannique.
La télévision MTVA a fait savoir au Guardian dans un communiqué qu’« au lieu de prendre part à l’Eurovision en 2020, le groupe audiovisuel soutiendra directement les talents de la pop musique hongroise ».
