La demande d’asile de la fondatrice du mouvement Femen Anna Hutsol a été rejetée par l’Office fédéral des migrations (ODM) de Suisse. « Elle doit quitter le territoire suisse », a déclaré jeudi le porte-parole de l’ODM Léa Wertheimer, cité par la presse locale.
L’activiste avait déposé une demande d’asile en Suisse car sa soeur y vit. Elle avait été placée dans un centre d’accueil en attendant que sa demande soit traitée. Maintenant que cette demande a été rejetée, Anna Hutsol dispose d’un visa Schengen de la France et devrait bientôt arriver chez nous.
Anna Hutsol est de nationalité ukrainienne, comme Inna Shevchenko, plus connue des Français. C’est Anna Hutsol qui est la fondatrice des Femen, avec son « camarade » Viktor Sviatski qu’elle dit avoir rencontré au début des années 2000 au sein d’un « cercle de rue marxiste » dont il était le « mentor ». En vérité, les deux ont fait partie du Komsomol, mouvement de jeunesse du parti communiste.
Anna Hutsol et Viktor Sviatski ont été très proches d’Olga Ivanovna Ugrak, candidate du parti communiste ukrainien. Après l’échec politique de celle-ci, Anna Hutsol et Viktor Sviatski, mais aussi Sasha Shevchenko, se sont rapprochés du millionnaire Igor Berkut, autrefois oligarque au Kazakhstan et en Russie.
En 2007, Anna Hutsol fut invitée aux Etats-Unis par l’Open World Leadership Institute, un organisme en lien avec le Congrès américain.
C’est en 2008 que Femen se manifeste pour la première fois. Le mouvement publie un premier manifeste qui annonce notamment vouloir « construire une image nationale de la féminité, de la maternité et de la beauté basée sur l’expérience du mouvement des femmes euro-atlantique« .
Jusqu’en 2011, les Femen vont recevoir le soutien de Jed Sunden, magnat des médias ukrainiens et d’origine américaine.
