Russie – Une commission d’enquête va être formée pour vérifier les circonstances de l’assassinat du tsar Nicolas II, de son épouse et de ses cinq enfants. Cette commission examinera notamment l’hypothèse du « meurtre rituel ».
Au sein notamment de l’Eglise orthodoxe russe, il existe de plus en plus de voix pour exprimer l’idée que l’assassinat de la famille impériale russe par les bolchéviques, en 1918, relève du « meurtre rituel ». Mgr Tikhon, confesseur du président Vladimir Poutine, a expliqué à l’agence RIA Novosti : « Les bolchéviques et leurs hommes de main n’étaient pas étrangers à toutes sortes de rituels symboliques ». L’accusation repose sur des récits selon lesquels le dirigeant bolchévique, Iakov Sverdlov, juif, aurait commandé à un autre juif, Iakov Iourovski, de tuer la famille impériale en accomplissant un « rite cabalistique ».
Le Comité d’enquête a pris cette accusation très au sérieux. Cette institution judiciaire de premier plan, considérée proche du Kremlin, va donc former une commission spéciale chargée de se pencher sur le sujet, réunissant des membres de l’Eglise et des historiens.
« Nous vérifions toutes les versions possibles des circonstances du décès, notamment la destruction des corps à l’aide de feu et d’acide, leur décapitation… ainsi que la version d’un meurtre rituel », a déclaré Marina Molodtsova, une haute responsable du Comité d’enquête, au cours d’une conférence consacrée à la mort des Romanov.
