Un communiqué du CRIF nous apprend que des membres de la direction de Twitter ont suivi une formation organisée par le CRIF sur « l’expression de l’antisémitisme sur l’Internet et dans les réseaux sociaux ». Le CRIF a été invité à dispenser cette formation dans les bureaux de Twitter à Paris.
Sinéad McSweeney, Senior Director Public Policy EMEA chez Twitter et Audrey, Head of Public Policy, France chez Twitter ont participé à cette formation assurée par Marc Knobel, Directeur des études au CRIF.
La cellule digitale du CRIF a également assisté à cette formation qui portait « sur l’ensemble des formes et caractéristiques de l’antisémitisme (actions, violences, terrorisme, stéréotypes…) depuis l’année 2000 ainsi que sur les dispositions pénales en matière de lutte contre le racisme et l’antisémitisme, l’apologie du terrorisme et/ou les discriminations et les conventions internationales« .
