Une note de la direction de la police met en garde ses agents contre l’utilisation de l’application WhatsApp.
Selon cette note destinée à tous les services, WhatsApp fait l’objet depuis quelques mois de « tentatives de compromission« , entendez d’espionnage.
La direction de la police demande donc à l’ensemble de ses agents de cesser l’usage de WhatsApp et de lui préférer Tchap, une application équivalente mais française, car « les messages privés y sont chiffrés de bout en bout et stockés en France« .
