L’Eglise catholique continue de reculer, voir de s’effondrer, au Chili à l’instar du reste de l’Amérique latine. Une enquête vient d’être diffusée par biobiochile.cl qui ne se gêne pas pour faire le lien entre cet état de fait et l’institution de la liberté religieuse dans le pays il y a 150, le 27 juillet 1865.
L’effondrement du catholicisme est prégnant : de 2006 à 2014, le nombre de chiliens se déclarant catholiques, ce qui ne veut pas dire pratiquants, est passé de 70% à 59%, soit une chute de 11% en 8 ans. Dans le même temps les sectes protestantes progressent ainsi que l’athéisme.
Les statistiques annuelles du Vatican visant à démontrer que l’Eglise catholique continue de progresser ainsi que les shows médiatiques comme les JMJ ne doivent tromper personne : l’influence de l’Eglise diminue sur tous les continents, y compris sur ceux qui sont présentés comme étant très catholiques. Un clergé et des pratiquants vieillissants masquent mal l’apostasie des nations minées par le matérialisme et le libéralisme, ainsi que par le relativisme diffusé par l’Eglise elle-même depuis le concile Vatican II via notamment la liberté religieuse et œcuménisme.
