La Chine a fermé 110 sites Internet dans le cadre d’une campagne nationale de lutte contre la pornographie en ligne, a déclaré dimanche le Bureau national d’information sur Internet.
Selon le bureau, Quelque 3.300 comptes de réseaux sociaux basés en Chine, tels que WeChat et Sina Weibo, ainsi que des forums en ligne ont été supprimés dans le cadre de la campagne « Nettoyer le web 2014 » qui a récemment débuté.
Près de 7.000 publicités et 200.000 textes présentant un contenu pornographique ont également été effacés.
« La pornographie nuit aux mineurs et à l’esprit social », indique une circulaire publiée au début de la campagne par le Bureau national de lutte contre la pornographie et les publications illégales.
Cette campagne vise à lutter contre la propagation continue de la pornographie sur Internet malgré les multiples campagnes menées par le passé.
