C’est devant un public venu en nombre et face à une salle comble que l’historienne Marion Sigaut, qui était invitée lundi 2 mars en l’église traditionaliste St Nicolas du Chardonnet, a durant un peu plus d’une heure et demi captivé un auditoire en recherche de vérité sur le sujet de la chasse aux sorcières et de l’inquisition, n’hésitant pas avec son mordant habituel à faire la chasse aux mystificateurs qui ont vendu leurs boniments durant les deux derniers siècles.
Marion Sigaut, spécialisée dans le siècle des lumières, parcourt la France depuis plusieurs années, donnant de nombreuses conférences, dénonçant les menteurs et mystificateurs qui malgré l’évidence de leurs impostures continuent à être cités comme références encore aujourd’hui.
Durant la conférence, nous avons eu le plaisir d’apprendre qu’elle était rejointe par d’autres historiens ayant pour prédilection la période du moyen-âge qui effectuent des travaux de recherche de vérité historique.
Suite au succès rencontré lors de la conférence, Marion Sigaut reviendra sur Paris pour une nouvelle séance de dédicaces qui viendra compléter la précédente afin de satisfaire ses lecteurs qui n’ont pu obtenir de livres suite à l’épuisement des stocks.
Cette nouvelle séance se tiendra à la Librairie Notre Dame de France, 21 rue Monge, 75005 Paris le vendredi 27 mars de 16h00 à 20h00.
