Le pape François cultive une image de préférence pour les déshérités. C’est avec étonnement que les rédactions apprennent que la Chapelle Sixtine a été louée à un club sélect d’amateurs de Porsche pour un concert privé réservé à une cinquantaine de privilégiés.
C’est le voyagiste Wige Event, basé à Cologne, qui organise avec la société Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG les séjours de luxe proposés aux membres de Porsche Travel Club.
Du 15 au 19 octobre, pour la modique somme de 4.590 euros par personne, les membres de Porsche Travel Club peuvent visiter Rome à l’écart de la foule. Hôtel cinq étoiles, visite au Porsche Center de Rome et rallye dans les montagnes environnantes, visite des jardins du Pape au Vatican, concert donné par l’Accademia di Santa Cecilia dans la Chapelle Sixtine puis dîner dans les salles du musée.
Une telle location est une première depuis son inauguration en 1484. Le produit de la vente des billets d’entrée devrait être reversé à des œuvres caritatives.
