Cette exposition, à l’initiative du Conseil Municipal de Foucarville, est une première sur la thématique. Un projet ambitieux pour une commune de 130 habitants, et sans la volonté d’un groupe de passionnés et le soutien de la population, rien n’aurait été possible.
L’exposition retrace l’histoire de ce camp et la vie quotidienne des officiers et soldats allemands emprisonnés. Grâce à une collection riche en objets, films et témoignages, les visiteurs pourront découvrir l’univers carcéral à cette époque et son objectif de rééducation des jeunes soldats allemands.
Infos pratiques
L’exposition proposée par le Conseil Communal de Foucarville (commune nouvelle de Sainte Mère Eglise) sera présentée en 3 langues (français, anglais, allemand) au Musée du Débarquement de Utah Beach du 1er mars au 30 novembre 2017.
Horaires du Musée :
Du 1er octobre au 30 novembre : 10h00-18h00
Fermeture de la billetterie 1h avant celle du Musée
