Plus de 250 œuvres du peintre Joseph-Félix Bouchor (1853-1937) seront présentes à la galerie du Chevalet à Noyon, très majoritairement des paysages ou des scènes de genre.
Cette exposition qui se tiendra jusqu’au 18 août, organisée en partenariat avec le musée de Picardie, permet de valoriser Bouchor en tant que peintre de guerre, mais aussi de présenter ses œuvres en résonance avec celles des collections du musée du Noyonnais. L’artiste montre les champs de bataille avec leurs ruines et leurs tranchées, mais dresse aussi le portrait de soldats, chefs militaires ou simples hommes de troupe.
