Jean-Marie Le Pen est un homme cultivé. Son tweet envoyé durant les prises d’otages d’hier, « Restez calme et votez Le Pen. », faisait référence à une affiche « Keep Calm and Carry On » éditée par le gouvernement britannique à la veille de la seconde guerre mondiale.
Un tweet qui en a indisposé certains. Le HuffPost a voulu interroger Jean-Marie Le Pen. Il a répondu avec l’humour qu’on lui connaît:
« Union nationale de mes fesses, nous sommes mis à l’écart. »
« Qu’est-ce que c’est que cette histoire de récupération politique? On ne peut pas appeler à voter quand on veut? Est-ce que je dois m’habiller en noir? Je déplore la disparition de douze Français. Mais je ne suis pas Charlie du tout, je suis Charlie Martel si vous voyez ce que je veux dire! »
