Samedi soir, à 19h, c’est une longue file qui s’étendait le long des quais de la Seine, à hauteur de la péniche sur laquelle devait se tenir le banquet organisé par Rivarol en l’honneur de Jean-Marie Le Pen qui fêtera ses 90 ans.
Hélas, le principal intéressé, celui auquel quelques centaines de personnes venaient témoigner de leur amitié, était absent. Jean-Marie Le Pen avait été hospitalisé quelques jours plus tôt.
Du coup, d’autres personnalités annoncées étaient également absentes. Ni Dieudonné, occupé à son Bal des Quenelles, ni Alain Soral, ni Carl Lang. En revanche, beaucoup d’autres avaient répondu à l’appel, pour la plus grande joie des participants, heureux de discuter avec ceux dont ils regardent les vidéos ou lisent les livres ou articles. Il y avait là, parmi tant d’autres, le colonel Patrick Hays, Lorrain de Saint Affrique et Alexandre Simonnot (comités Jeanne), Alain Escada (Civitas), Roland Hélie (Synthèse Nationale), l’écrivain Hervé Ryssen, la dessinatrice Chard, Pierre Sidos (œuvre française), Henry de Lesquen, le marquis Jean-Paul Chayrigues de Olmetta, le patron de presse Nicolas Miguet, Thomas Joly (parti de la France), André Gandillon (parti nationaliste français), l’ancien député Robert Spieler, le vidéaste Tepa,…
Au final, environ 400 convives ont embarqué sur la péniche de rechange, car celle initialement réservée par Jérôme Bourbon, directeur de Rivarol et des Ecrits de Paris, avait fait défaut après les pressions politiques habituelles auxquelles son propriétaire avait été soumis.
Les discussions allaient bon train sur l’état de santé de Jean-Marie Le Pen, ceux qui avaient été lui rendre visite à l’hôpital témoignant d’un affaiblissement général inquiétant. Mais, au début du banquet, une liaison téléphonique fut établie en direct avec la chambre d’hôpital à partir de laquelle Jean-Marie Le Pen salua tous les participants à cette petite croisière et regretta d’en être absent, ajoutant quelques mots sur le contre-révolutionnaire Antoine de Rivarol et sur le journal qui porte fièrement son nom.
Plus tard, au cours du repas, parmi quelques allocutions, Jérôme Bourbon lut le courrier d’encouragement de Bruno Gollnisch, retenu par un mariage. Les propos du député européen ne manquaient pas de sel, énumérant les actuelles polices de la pensée !
