La compagnie américaine spécialisée en poupées de collection présentera samedi 18 février à la foire des jeux de New-York, Jazz, la poupée trans inspirée de l’histoire de l’adolescent(e) Jazz Jennings, né garçon, devenu fille, le plus jeune trans de l’histoire, protagoniste d’un coming-out international raconté à la télévision via une émission de télé-réalité! Il (elle) rêvait d’une poupée à son image. Tonner Doll l’a faite !
Après les Barbies fashionista, 4 morphologies, 7 teintes de peau, 22 couleurs d’yeux, 24 coiffures différentes , les anti-Barbie, grosses, agrémentées des lunettes de vue aux verres épais et strictement avec des chaussures plates, après le premier personnage de Lego handicapé, les poupées en chaise roulante de la marque britannique Makies, et celles ethniques avec des yeux en amandes et la peau sombre si elle n’est pas cachée par un hijab, voici la nouvelle poupée Made in USA très politiquement correcte.
Jazz, la poupée trans haute de 45 centimètre et privée d’attributs sexuels, est une réalisation de Robert Tonner, le fondateur de Tonner Doll : « C’est une héroïne des changements sociaux, courageuse et intelligente. »
La campagne lgbt de propagande née en 2015, Toys like us (des jeux comme nous) a gagné haut la main. Les poupées ne font dorénavant plus rêver les petites filles mais les font rentrer de plein pied dans la réalité transgenre qui envahit le quotidien. Dans une réalité ambiguë, difficile, désespérante. Dans une réalité dont les enfants aimeraient s’évader…
