Voilà un bel exemple de conviction. Jaelene Hinkle est une célèbre joueuse de foot féminin aux Etats-Unis. Elle fait partie de l’équipe nationale de football féminin des États-Unis. Elle est aussi une chrétienne assumée.
Elle a donc fait savoir que, par «convictions personnelles», elle ne participera pas aux match lorsque son équipe doit porter un maillot aux couleurs arc-en-ciel du lobby homosexuel.
En effet, au mois de juin, la Fédération US Women’s Soccer a annoncé que leurs équipes porteront parfois des maillots « Pride » arc-en-ciel, chaque mois de juin, en l’honneur du mois de la « fierté » de l’homosexualité.
Jaelene Hinkle est prête à la persécution pour sa foi en Jésus-Christ. Elle tweete fréquemment des extraits des Saintes Écritures. Et ce n’est pas nouveau. Lorsque la Cour suprême des États-Unis a légalisé le mariage homosexuel en 2015, Jaelene Hinkle a posté sur Instagram: « Je crois avec chaque fibre dans mon corps que ce qui a été écrit il y a 2 000 ans dans la Bible est sans aucun doute vrai … Ce monde peut changer, mais le Christ et sa parole NE CHANGERONT JAMAIS. »
Les militants homosexuels ont vilipendé Jaelene Hinkle pour avoir partagé ses convictions chrétiennes.
