Le député vient de l’annoncer via un communiqué de presse :

« A l’automne 2007, quelques mois avant les élections municipales, j’apprenais qu’une enquête était ouverte à mon encontre, à l’instigation de personnes présentées depuis dans les documents officiels de la justice comme des « opposants politiques ».

A l’automne 2013, six ans plus tard, quelques mois avant de nouvelles élections municipales, j’apprends que cette affaire ressort et qu’une ordonnance de renvoi devant le tribunal correctionnel vient d’être rendue à mon encontre.

Cette nouvelle ne me surprend nullement. Elle est de nature à réjouir les opposants politiques à l’origine de cette plainte.

C’est avec la plus parfaite sérénité que je répondrai à l’appel de la justice, absolument certain de la droiture de mes actes comme de mes intentions. »
