Cela fait depuis les élections du 4 mars dernier que l’Italie vit sans gouvernement. Et ce chaos va continuer.
Giuseppe Conte, qui avait été enfin choisi par la coalition M5S-La Legua pour être le président du Conseil, renonce. Après avoir été reçu par le président Sergio Mattarella, il a annoncé ne pas avoir réussi à former un gouvernement agréé de ce dernier. Notamment Matarella a mis son veto sur le nom de Paolo Savona comme ministre de l’Économie. Or ce veto lui a été dicté par Berlin, l’Union européenne et les pouvoirs financiers. C’est un veto pour contrer un gouvernement populaire et eurosceptique.
« Je peux vous assurer que j’ai fourni le maximum d’efforts et d’attention pour mener à bien cette tâche et l’avoir fait dans un climat de pleine collaboration avec les responsables des forces politiques qui m’ont désigné » , a déclaré Giuseppe Conte devant la presse.
Matteo Salvini, chef de la Ligue, a immédiatement réagi :
« En ces heures je suis en train d’être convaincu du fait que l’Italie n’est pas un pays libre. »
« Si un ministre gêne certains pouvoirs forts qui nous ont massacrés, cela veut dire que c’est le bon ministre. »
Sergio Mattarella a annoncé dès dimanche soir la convocation de Carlo Cottarelli, un économiste de 64 ans, ancien haut responsable du Fonds monétaire international (FMI) surnommé « M. Ciseaux » pour son rôle dans la réduction des dépenses publiques en 2013-2014 sous les gouvernements de centre gauche.
Matteo Salvini a donc dénoncé « un Monsieur Personne qui représente la finance internationale », et Luigi Di Maio « l’un de ces experts donneurs de leçons qui nous ont accablés en taillant dans la santé, l’éducation, l’agriculture… ».
« Nous serons jamais des serfs et jamais des esclaves » a-t-il ajouté en concluant :
« C’est pourquoi nous irons tous à Rome pour porter la voix de millions d’Italiens honnêtes qui ont été volés de leur vote.
