« L’Église est descendue dans la bataille contre nous. Je me l’attendais » a déclaré récemment Matteo Salvini, le ministre de l’Intérieur italien. Homme politique le plus populaire en Italie et aussi à l’étranger, il n’est en revanche pas vraiment aimé par le pape François qui a repoussé toutes les demandes de rencontre émises par Salvini. En tant que vice-premier du Conseil, ce dernier voudrait rencontrer l’autorité du Saint-Siège, du petit État enclavé dans la Rome capitale, et ce serait chose protocolaire. Mais El papa argentin, qui ne juge pas les gays, qui ne fait pas de politique, qui est si accueillant avec les clandestins, les transsexuels et autres déviants, les Castro et autres dictateurs, juge intouchable, inapprochable, l’actuel homme fort de l’Italie.
La politique anti-immigration et sécuritaire instaurée par Salvini, avec en pratique l’arrêt des débarquements de clandestins par des bateaux d’ONG humanitaristes et un plus grand contrôle des centres d’accueil de migrants, à l’heur de déplaire au gratin de l’Église conciliaire.
Pour le chef de La Ligue, les motivations du Vatican contre lui sont claires : ce sont des motivations politiques anti-identitaires avant tout. Pourtant rappelle Salvini, ces courants identitaires qui traversent l’Europe d’Est en Ouest veulent affirmer la priorité des familles catholiques, arrêter le laxisme moral et gender. Ainsi La Ligue est en train de devenir, malgré l’hostilité bergoglienne, un phare, même en-dehors de l’Italie, dans la bataille politique, culturelle et morale, européenne et internationale en faveur de la souveraineté des nations, de l’identité des peuples et de la civilisation chrétienne. Et cette bataille arrive au cœur du Vatican…
