Les mêmes mesures prises par la Hongrie avaient fait bondir les journalistes. Que diront ceux-ci maintenant que c’est Israël qui refuse d’être submergé par les immigrés illégaux et fait construire un mur pour empêcher leur entrée ?
Le premier ministre israélien Benyamin Netanyahou a annoncé dimanche la construction d’une clôture à la frontière avec la Jordanie.
«Nous ne laisserons pas Israël être submergé par une vague de migrants illégaux et d’activistes terroristes», a déclaré M. Netanyahou lors du conseil hebdomadaire des ministres.
Le premier ministre a annoncé qu’Israël «commence aujourd’hui à construire une clôture à la frontière avec la Jordanie», le quatrième «mur» érigé par l’État hébreu. Israël a déjà achevé d’ériger en 2013 une clôture électronique de 240 km le long de sa frontière avec l’Égypte.
«Nous n’attendrons pas, nous allons autant que possible entourer les frontières d’Israël avec une clôture de sécurité sophistiquée qui permettra de contrôler nos frontières», a ajouté le premier ministre.
