C’est toujours une grande confusion qui règne au Venezuela. S’il ne fait aucun doute que la CIA tente en ce moment de déstabiliser le régime de Nicolas Maduro, il n’en reste pas moins vrai que la Garde Nationale Bolivarienne multiplie les provocations contre les catholiques.
Dernier exemple connu, l’irruption en pleine nuit du 7 au 8 août d’une trentaine d’hommes de cette Garde Nationale Bolivarienne dans la résidence universitaire Cristo Rey tenue par cinq vieilles religieuses. Sorties de leur lit par ces hommes armés et cagoulés, les vieilles religieuses complètement bouleversées étaient sommées de répondre aux questions dans le cadre d’une perquisition destinée à trouver une cache d’armes dans le bâtiment. Et, bien évidemment, aucune arme n’a été trouvée.
L’archevêque de Valence (Venezuela), Mgr Reinaldo de Prette, a adressé une lettre au commissaire en chef du Service de renseignement bolivarien (Sebin) de l’État de Carabobo, pour se plaindre de ces méthodes.
