Il y a un an, nous publiions un article sur l’interdiction de la burqa dans le monde. En 12 mois, la liste des pays l’interdisant a encore augmenté, touchant aussi biens des pays musulmans que d’autres ne l’étant pas. Voici maintenant la liste :
- Burqa interdite totalement : Autriche, Belgique, Bulgarie, Cameroun, Congo, France, Gabon, Lettonie, Maroc, Pays-Bas, Tadjikistan et Tchad.
- Burqa bannie au niveau local ou régional : Allemagne, Australie, Azerbaïdjan, Bosnie-Herzégovine, Canada, Chine, Danemark, Espagne, Italie, Kosovo, Malaisie, Niger, Norvège, Russie, Suisse, Syrie, Tunisie et Turquie.
- Projets d’interdiction de la burqa : Albanie, Egypte, Estonie, Israël, Myanmar.
Il y a un an, 19 pays étaient impliqués aux divers degrés dans l’interdiction de la burqa contre 35 aujourd’hui. Le petit tableau ci-dessous fait le point :
