Une Salvadorienne du nom de Carmem Guadalupe Vasquez Aldana avait tué son nouveu né. Après de longues péripéties judiciaires et aidée par la pression des groupes tenant de la culture de mort ainsi que des Etats-Unis, elle a purememt et simplememt été acquittée. Elle avait été initialememt condamnée a trente années de prison pour meurtre. Ce fait est à metre en perspective des pressions effectuées en faveur de l’avortement.
Cet acquittement a été salué par six experts de l’ONU.
Les opposants à la culture de mort se sont déclarés scandalisés par l’intrusion des Americains dans ce pays qui protège les humains de la conception à la mort. Leur porte-parole, Julia de Cardenal, a déclaré que dans tous les pays du monde, l’infanticide était considéré comme un crime, même si l’enfant était né à seulement huit mois de la grossesse comme c’était le cas ici.
Les experts de l’ONU se sont réjouis en espérant que ce cas ferait office de jurisprudence mondiale. En principe cela constituerait une grande premiere qui justifierait l’infanticide dans les pas de l’avortement.
17 affaires de même type sont en attente dans le pays. Ces meurtres se sont toujours produits dans des conditions effroyables : étranglements, têtes écrasées, noyades, étouffements, cranes percés, etc.
Apparemment le rôle du président du Salvador n’est pas clair. Pourquoi a-t-il fait intervenir des experts des Nations-Unies ? D’autant qu’il n’existe actuellement pas de législation dans ce pays permettant l’avortement.
