Dans une interview accordée à Czechia’s Blesk au sujet des attaques terroristes en Europe, Milos Zeman, le président de la République tchèque a déclaré que la seule solution au terrorisme consiste à expulser les migrants illégaux et, en attendant, encourage les citoyens à s’armer et à être prêts à se défendre.
Milos Zeman a d’ailleurs déclaré qu’il avait déjà acheté à sa femme une arme de poing.
« Les détenteurs d’arme à feu vont devoir s’habituer à se montrer prêts à en faire usage si la situation l’exige. »
«Je pense vraiment que les citoyens devraient s’armer contre les terroristes. Et je l’avoue honnêtement, auparavant j’étais contre la détention d’armes. «
Le Président Zeman s’inquiète que l’Union européenne, au contraire, utilise les récentes attaques terroristes comme prétexte pour restreindre le droit de posséder une arme.
Depuis cet interview du président Zeman, son porte-parole, Jiri Ovcacek, a déclaré aux médias : «Notre pays ne peut tout simplement pas se permettre de risquer des attaques terroristes comme ce qui est arrivé en France et en Allemagne. En acceptant des migrants, nous créons un terrain fertile pour les attaques barbares « .
