A la Porte de Saint-Ouen, les risques sanitaires liés à l’immigration massive et incontrôlée sont devenus réalité.
Désormais c’est le risque de contagion qui inquiète. Epidémie de gale, d’herpès, de problèmes intestinaux, d’angine… Le constat affole. Et les bénévoles sont priés de suivre des mesures strictes : porter des gants, un masque, n’avoir aucun contact physique avec les migrants et laver ses vêtements à 60 degrés.
Les dangers sanitaires sont d’autant plus importants qu’à la Porte de Saint-Ouen, les immigrés – une centaine – qui y ont installé un campement sauvage font leurs besoins dans le parc ou entre les voitures.
Le docteur Patrick Bouffard, cardiologue à l’hôpital Bichat où sont envoyés les migrants dont l’état de santé le nécessite, tire la sonnette d’alarme : « J’ai peur qu’on doive faire face à une crise sanitaire aigüe« .
