Surprise ! L’Angola ordonne de fermer toutes les mosquées sur son territoire. Rosa Cruz e Silva, ministre de la Culture, a déclaré : « En ce qui concerne l’Islam, dont le processus de légalisation n’a pas été approuvé par le ministère de la Justice et des Droits de l’Homme, leurs mosquées seront fermées jusqu’à nouvel ordre. »
A Luanda, la mosquée a même été détruite. Puis ce fut au tour de la mosquée de Viana. Les autorités angolaises ont fait savoir qu’elles n’autoriseraient pas la construction de mosquées et que celles qui ont été détruites n’avaient pas reçu d’autorisation et étaient donc illégales. Les autorités angolaises ont estimé que l’islam est contraire aux us et coutumes de leur pays et qu’elles devaient prendre des mesures drastiques pour préserver l’Angola de sa propagation.
