On trouve tout chez Ikea dit la pub sauf… les boules du sapin de Noël, les guirlandes et autres lampions qui marquent le temps festif de la naissance du Christ.
Fini Noël chez Ikea, place pour ne pas offenser les nouveaux arrivants dans les pays scandinaves à la Fête de l’hiver. Dorénavant, novlangue de soumission oblige, ce sera donc boules de la Fête de l’hiver, guirlandes et sapin de la fête de l’hiver, etc. Pour rester « neutres » ! Et tous ces objets de décoration du temps de Noël se trouveront au rayon Winterfest.
Le chef du Parti populaire danois, Peter Skaarup, a critiqué cette décision sur Facebook :
« Alors que la grande majorité des Danois attendent avec impatience de célébrer le traditionnel Noël danois, IKEA a commencé à préparer ses décorations pour un festival de l’hiver. J’aime beaucoup la Suède et les Suédois, mais ce politiquement correct devient un peu accablant. »
Ikea prétend que ce changement est dans un but uniquement commercial. Le géant suédois nous permettra d’en douter…
