Première réunion du Conseil scientifique de Civitas (CSC)
La première réunion du Conseil scientifique de Civitas a eu lieu le 29 septembre, en la fête de Saint Michel.
Ce fut l’occasion d’une rencontre sympathique et studieuse, en vue d’organiser et de planifier les travaux pour les mois à venir.
Alain Escada a rappelé ce que Civitas attendait de son nouveau Conseil. D’abord des éléments à caractère scientifique, permettant d’éclairer son action politique. Ensuite, témoigner de la présence de scientifiques de haut niveau au sein de notre famille de pensée. Enfin, dans le cadre de rencontres scientifiques, faire progresser nos idées dans la société.
Plusieurs thèmes de colloques ont été proposés, le premier aura lieu au mois de janvier 2019.
Le CSC, qui regroupe déjà une vingtaine de personnes, a décidé de recruter de nouveaux membres. Les candidats doivent remplir les conditions suivantes : être titulaire d’un doctorat ou pouvoir justifier d’un niveau équivalent, et partager les valeurs fondamentales de Civitas.
Outre ses membres permanents, le Conseil scientifique s’entoure d’un réseau d’experts, de toutes disciplines. Ils sont consultés dans le cadre de leurs compétences particulières.
