Mais pourquoi David Van Hemelryck ne s’est-il pas contenté de savourer le succès de son initiative matinale ? Si l’appel à huer et siffler François Hollande sur les Champs-Elysées ce matin a été un franc succès malgré l’important dispositif policier, il n’en a pas été de même pour le rassemblement organisé par David Van Hemelryck cet après-midi au Champs de Mars.
A peine une vingtaine de sympathisants d’Hollande Démission étaient présents, vers 16h, et ont écouté patiemment David Van Hemelryck tirer le bilan des douze derniers mois. Vers 17h30, les derniers participants ont quitté tranquillement les lieux.
Si Hollande Démission bénéficie donc d’un grand capital de sympathie et réussit à déclencher un élan populaire lorsqu’il s’agit de faire entendre au président de la république la voix du mécontentement général, le mouvement ne parvient pas, par contre, à se structurer. Ce n’est pas la première tentative de manifestation de Hollande Démission qui se solde par un échec. Comme c’était prévisible, cela avait déjà été le cas lorsque David Van Hemelryck avait appelé à une manifestation à Paris le même jour que la Marche pour la Vie.
