Selon divers sites communautaires juifs, il allait y avoir une mobilisation massive à Nantes hier soir, contre Dieudonné. On annonçait des cars de différentes régions de France. La réalité fut bien différente. A peine quelques dizaines de personnes présentes et qui ont formé mercredi soir dans le centre de Nantes un « cercle de vigilance » silencieux à l’appel de la Licra en se donnant la main pour protester contre les propos qu’ils jugent « antisémites » tenus par Dieudonné, dont le spectacle de jeudi au Zénith de la ville a été interdit par la préfecture.
Jean Natiez, membre du bureau national de la Licra, a longuement expliqué aux journalistes que tout cela rappelait le climat… des années 30.
Des tracts ont été distribués aux quelques badauds qui passaient par là. Sur ces tracts, on pouvait lire : « Refusons l’inacceptable: l’antisémitisme de Dieudonné et de ses amis ».
Quelques défenseurs de Dieudonné sont venus se mêler aux entretiens. L’un d’eux a voulu rappeler que la « quenelle » de Dieudonné, que certains présentent comme un geste symbolique antisémite, est en fait « un bras d’honneur plus ou moins long au système ».
Aucun incident notable n’a été signalé. Le trouble à l’ordre public est resté un fantasme.
