On ne dira jamais assez que tant la littérature, qu’elle s’adresse à la jeunesse ou aux adultes, que le cinéma, peuvent bien souvent comporter des messages codés, plus ou moins accessibles aux non-initiés à différents occultismes, de la kabbale à la franc-maçonnerie.
La Grande Loge de France vient le confirmer en organisant une conférence sur les symbolismes maçonniques chez Harry Potter.
Au delà du « roman jeunesse » et du succès planétaire d’Harry Potter, l’œuvre majeure de J.-K. Rowling est un vivier de symboles et de références. Un « roman d’éducation politique » pour Jean-Claude Milner, une réflexion philosophique sur la mort et l’apprentissage, mais également un parcours initiatique source d’inspiration pour le franc-maçon.
Mais dans quelle mesure les discours symboliques et politiques d’Harry Potter façonnent-ils ce « roman initiatique » ? Pour répondre à cette question la Grande Loge de France organise dimanche 28 avril à 15h. dans ses locaux de la rue de Puteaux à Paris une conférence exceptionnelle « Harry Potter chez les francs-maçons ! »

– Marianne Chaillan, Philosophe et auteure de « Harry Potter à l’école de la philosophie » chez Ellipses,
– Jean-Claude Milner, Linguiste, philosophe, diplômé de l’ENS et du MIT et auteur de « Harry Potter, à l’école des sciences morales et politiques » aux PUF,
– Théo Florens, Franc-maçon à la Grande Loge de France.
