La Fraternelle parlementaire (Frapar), qui regrouperait une centaine de parlementaires de tous partis et de toutes obédiences et plus encore de non parlementaires (anciens parlementaires, journalistes, et personnel des assemblées), pour un total estimé entre 300 et 400 membres. vient de renouveler son bureau le 25 octobre 2017.
C’est le sénateur LR Christophe-André Frassa qui en devient le président, succédant à l’ancien député socialiste Christian Bataille (GODF). L’usage veut que la présidence soit tenue alternativement par un membre de l’Assemblée Nationale et un membre du Sénat.
Christophe-André Frassa, 49 ans, sénateur LR des Français de l’étranger est un franc-maçon du Grand Orient de France (GODF) initié en 2002 au sein de la Loge Téthys (Paris).
Interrogé par un blog maçonnique, Christophe-André Frassa annonce qu’il a l’ambition de faire de la FRAPAR une «force de propositions consensuelles», notamment sur l’avenir et le statut de la Nouvelle Calédonie, sur la bioéthique, et sur les réformes institutionnelles-constitutionnelles.
Proche de Laurent Wauquiez (qui a déjà « planché » en loge), Christophe Frassa n’avait pas voté la loi Taubira. Ce que la Manif pour Tous avait mal interprété comme un soutien. «J’ai toujours dit que je n’étais pas opposé au mariage pour tous. Sans aucun revirement, j’ai jugé que la loi qui nous était proposée ouvrait la porte à la PMA et la GPA. Militant contre les trafics d’êtres humains, je suis très sensible à ces questions.», déclare-t-il.
A noter : Jacky Bontemps, entre au bureau de la Fraternelle parlementaire en tant que président du Cercle Iéna, Fraternelle maçonnique du Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental (CESE). Le Cercle Iéna regrouperait 52 des 233 membres du CESE, et donc pas tous les francs-maçons présents au CESE. Jacky Bontemps, adhérent socialiste, syndicaliste CFDT, est l’ancien numéro 2 de la confédération réformiste.
