Alors que les forêts d’Afrique et d’Indonésie, un peu celles du Brésil aussi, sont livrées à la déforestation intensive, notamment pour la culture de l’huile de palme (et n’oublie pas, jeune drugar : à chaque pot de Nutella que tu ouvres, tu as la mort d’un orang-outan sur la conscience…), l’Europe voit ses surfaces boisées augmenter (la France est, je l‘ai déjà dis dans un article plus ancien, passée de 18 % dans les années 1960 à 31 % aujourd’hui). Voici l’évolution des pays du monde sur une génération (1990-2015) :

Pays déboisant :  

• Déboisement critique (+ de 50 %) : Nigeria
