Onze personnes ont été interpellées et placées en garde à vue lundi soir, dans le cadre d’une instruction ouverte à Boulogne-sur-mer pour aide à l’immigration clandestine en bande organisée, détention et acquisition d’armes de 1ère et 4e catégories
Les arrestations se sont produites dans la région de Calais (Pas-de-Calais), dans le cadre d’une enquête sur une filière d’aide à l’immigration clandestine.
Les suspects sont tous majeurs, et ont entre une vingtaine et une trentaine d’années.
La police recherche des passeurs d’immigrés clandestins et des organisateurs de filières.
Selon la préfecture du Pas-de-Calais, il y a en permanence 300 à 350 migrants clandestins à Calais qui tentent de passer en Angleterre, située à 38 km, de l’autre côté de la Manche.
