Selon les estimations de la banque mauricienne AfrAsia (créée en 2007 et jugée en 2015 comme la banque la plus dynamique du continent africain) publiées aujourd’hui sur le site de veille statistique The Spectator Index (reprenant le journal émirati Gulf news daté du 20 mai 2018) sur l’évaluation présumée du nombre de milliardaires dans le monde pour 2027.

Voici le classement actuel des milliardaires :

• Hors-concours : Etats-Unis 737.

• Plus de 200 : Chine 249.

– Plus de 100 : Inde 119, Royaume-Uni 103.

– Plus de 50 : Allemagne 82, Hong Kong 56.

– Plus de 25 : Canada 44, France 41, Brésil : 36, Japon 35, Corée du Sud 32, Taïwan 32, Italie 31, Suisse 31, Singapour 25.

– Plus de 10 :  Suède 22, Espagne 20, Mexique 19, Iles des Caraïbes 19, Pays-Bas 18, Indonésie 17, Turquie 16, Emirats Arabes Unis 13, Malaisie 13.

– Par zones géographiques : Amérique du Nord : 819 ; Asie : 607 ; Europe : 348 ; Amérique du Sud : 36.

Et voici les prospectives pour les dix prochaines années quant aux milliardaires supplémentaires :
