Quelle peut être la définition de « personne politiquement exposée » ? Suffit-t-il de voter Trump pour en faire partie ?
Dans les bureaux de change et vente d’or de Bruxelles (au moins dans le principal), on trouve cette affiche. D’où vient-elle ? D’une nouvelle invention de l’Union européenne ou d’ailleurs ? Elle a un petit relent d’affiches ou instructions fournies par les douanes américaines qui demandent de signer sur l’honneur que l’on n’a ni armes ni drogues, instructions qui font rire les Européens (1).
L’affichette n’est pas apparue un premier avril… mais en décembre 2020 et était toujours là le 15 janvier 2021.
- (1) Cette demande apparemment absurde se justifie car dans l’esprit des fondateurs historiques de la démocratie américaine où le citoyen est le maitre de son pays, le parjure est l’une des pires choses pour le bon fonctionnement de la communauté et il aggrave fortement les peines pénales encourues en cas de condamnation.
