Aux Etats-Unis, l’alliance judéo-musulmane contre Donald Trump s’est à nouveau affichée.
La semaine dernière, lors d’un iftar (repas de soir de ramadan) organisé au Washington Convention Center à Washington DC, Anwar Khan, directeur de l’organisation Islamic Relief USA a décerné un prix à Mark Hetfield, président de l’Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS).
Ces deux organisations, l’une musulmane, l’autre juive, ont pris l’habitude de manifester ensemble pour l’accueil des « réfugiés » et immigrés aux Etats-Unis et contre la politique restrictive de Donald Trump en matière d’immigration.
Islamic Relief USA a décerné un prix à l’HIAS pour son « infatigable travail d’aide aux réfugiés et pour s’être élevée contre le décret anti-réfugiés devant la justice ».
L’HIAS est l’une des trois organisations qui avaient introduit un recours contre les ordonnances du président américain Donald Trump fermant temporairement l’entrée des Etats-Unis aux voyageurs et « réfugiés » originaires de 6 pays musulmans.
Islamic Relief USA avait rejoint une commission inter–religieuse soutenant le recours introduit par l’HIAS contre le décret.
