Victor Robert, animateur de l’émission Le Grand Journal, un « talk-show » de Canal+, a démarré la rentrée avec un journaliste transgenre de 58 ans parmi son équipe.
«L’ancien journaliste sportif de Libération est là en femme libre et libérée», a déclaré Victor Robert au sujet de celui qui se fait désormais appeler Brigitte Boréale mais dont le vrai nom est Philippe Enselme.
Il sera régulièrement présent aux côtés d’Alice Darfeuille, André Manoukian et Augustin Trapenard.
Philippe Enselme, dit Brigitte Boréale, avait d’abord été « chroniqueuse » de la chaîne câblée pour homosexuels Pink TV. Egalement journaliste à Libération, il y avait déclaré «Je suis hétéro avec une bisexualité cyclique. Mais c’est surtout une question de sensualité».
Marié, ce bonhomme se travestissait le week-end. Cela ne l’a pas empêché d’avoir avec son épouse une fille, Morgane, devenue elle-aussi « people » en participant à Secret Story, une émission de « télé-réalité ».
Pour s’assurer de faire parler de ce personnage et de son rôle dans Le Grand Journal, Canal + a fait intervenir la nouvelle «Miss Météo», Ornella Fleury, qui s’est adressée à Philippe Enselme, dit Brigitte Boréale en lui disant : «Bonsoir monsieur-dame, enfin Brigitte». Avant d’ajouter une allusion graveleuse: «Brigitte, on te connaît très peu, et du coup je trouve ça un peu excitant, ça me donne envie que vous et moi on fasse un plan à trois». « Brigitte Boréale » a alors répondu sur le ton de la plaisanterie: «Je suis ouverte à toutes les propositions, j’ai refusé André mais toi oui.» Que ne ferait-on pas pour garantir de l’audimat…
