La vague d’antichristianisme reste palpable en Espagne. Le 2 avril, une alerte à la bombe a contraint à l’évacuation temporaire de la cathédrale de Leon. Au moment de l’alerte, la cathédrale était visité par environ 150 personnes. A peu près en même temps, un incident similaire se produisait à St Jacques de Compostelle .
Selon les informations données par la préfecture de Leon, l’appel a été reçu vers 11H30 heures. Les équipes de déminage de la police nationale sont rapidement arrivées et des membres de la police locale ont bouclé la zone. Après avoir été fouillée, la cathédrale a pu rouvrir ses portes.
Cette même matinée, la cathédrale de Saint-Jacques de Compostelle a été évacuée pendant environ quinze minutes après un appel vers 11h15 avertissant d’un attentat à la bombe, alerte qui s’est également révélée fausse.
Ces alertes à la bombe prennent place dans un contexte espagnol gravement dégradé, avec des profanations régulières de lieux de culte catholiques et un antichristianisme virulent entretenu par les milieux pro-avortement.
