Espagne – Une sculpture immonde représentant le roi d’Espagne, Juan Carlos, à quatre pattes sur un tapis de casques nazis, vomissant un bouquet de bleuets, chevauché par la féministe et syndicaliste bolivienne Domitila Barrios de Chúngara, elle même sodomisée par un chien-loup suscite une vive controverse. Le pseudo-artiste autrichien Inès Doujak devait être exposé au Macba, le Musée d’art contemporain de Barcelone (Espagne).
Le directeur de ce musée, Bartolomeu Mari, a souhaité faire retirer cette œuvre, présentée dans le cadre de l’exposition La Bête et le souverain, considérant cette « oeuvre » « inadéquate et contraire à la ligne éditoriale du musée ».
Mais les commissaires de l’exposition ont refusé de maintenir cette exposition sans cette horreur. Ce qui a eu l’avantage de provoquer l’annulation complète de cette exposition.
