L’appel de l’Observatoire catholique à éteindre sa télévision durant le week-end dernier pour protester contre l’antichristianisme de certains programmes de TC TV a rapidement porté quelques fruits. Ainsi, « l’humoriste » Francisco Pinoargotti a annoncé dans son émission PHD qu’il retirait une séquence tournée dans un confessionnal et se moquant de ce sacrement de pénitence. Il a également présenté des excuses publiques pour avoir meurtri les sensibilités religieuses des catholiques.
L’Observatoire Catholique est un mouvement de laïcs catholiques équatoriens qui encourage la participation du Catholique dans le débat social et politique de l’Equateur.
